The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meet The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles thanks to a teleporting disaster. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello must join forces with their near identical counterparts and work together to fix the trans-dimensional debacle. But nothing's that simple, and standing in their way is the evil Shredder and Ch'rell, who have plans to eliminate the turtles once and for all! As their worlds collide the turtles come face to face with classic characters such as Casey and April, plus a slew of enemies including Krang, Hun, the Foot Soldiers, the Purple Dragons, Bebop and Rocksteady...

Turtles Forever is a 2009 animated TV movie that was created to celebrate 25 years of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

For those that have grown up with the Turtles this will be entertaining as it incorporates a storyline that allows the movie to revisit the Turtles in many familiar guises. The plot throws together two groups of Turtles from two different dimensions, but as the movie unfolds Turtles from other dimensions are shown. This is a neat touch. For the young this will also be an engaging movie.

There are no extras. One annoying aspect is that the sound seems to have mixed by someone who didn't know what they were doing. The music and sound effects are incredibly loud while the dialogue is whisper quiet. I can see a lot of kids getting shouted at by enraged parents because they have their TV on too loud. Sadly you have to turn the TV up to hear what is going on, but the second any action takes place the noise rockets up. This is even worse if you're listening to this through a surround sound system.

For old fans of the franchise I can't think of a more fitting movie idea.
