World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria: Signature Series Guide takes you on the unforgettable journey through the newest continent in the World of Warcraft universe. From the beginner-friendly introduction, assisting new players on their way to greatness; to maps of each part of Pandaria, every gamer will be fully prepared. You will find extensive information on every one of the 11 classes and 13 races in the game, including brand new character class, the Monk, and playable race, Pandaren. Be fully prepared for battle with tips and tricks on player-versus-player fights and world dungeons, as well as how to navigate new game play, including Pet Battles, Scenarios and Challenge Mode. You will also learn about updates made to guilds and achievements, so you won't miss a thing in the Mists of Pandaria...

It won't come as any surprise to anyone that's bought a Signature Series Guide in the past, but as usual Brady Games has pulled out all the stops to make this a guide book that's not only an invaluable help to gamers, but also extremely pleasing on the eye.

Over the course of this 466-page book you'll discover everything you need to know (and more) to equip yourself for adventure and battle in the latest World of Warcraft add-on. Starting with a little help on what character to opt for and even attempting to tackle some of the media hysteria about the addictiveness of the game, the book slowly eases the novice into the world of the game. Personally I thought this was a great touch, as all too often these days, it's automatically assumed that everyone knows the basics and this simple introduction will ensure that the book doesn't turn off the novice gamer before they've gotten into the real meat of the text.

It also takes us through the basics of the game as well as introducing us to the character classes and various professions. It's not just a book for the novice, as even someone who plays World of Warcraft a lot is bound to discover loads of information that may have passed them by. In fact, if you're a seasoned player, the book will probably tempt you into opening another account in order to play as a totally different character.

Of course, there's nothing here that you can't find by doing a quick Internet search, and if you're a seasoned gamer who is happy with their character and class then you probably won't get a great deal out of this. Having said that, this is a great book to pick up and read, flick through and generally dip in and out of. Those new to World of Warcraft should seriously consider picking this up.
