Far, far away, in a small mushroom village, live a group of little blue pixies in short trousers and white bonnets called The Smurfs. Only as tall as three apples, they speak in ‘Smurf’, a language that only they understand. The Smurfs are carefree, peaceful creatures that live in harmony with nature. But they have a nasty habit of wanting to act like man, which causes them 1,001 problems... My Smurfy Valentine contains another four episodes from The Smurfs '80s animated TV series: My Smurfy Valentine (1983 Special): Smurfette discovers that the evil witch Chlorhydris is planning to cast a spell that will result in "a world without love". The Smurfs, along with Cupid, must stop Chlorhydris before it is too late. Romeo and Smurfette (from the show's first season): Spring has sprung and the Smurfs are all competing for Smurfette's affections. She decides that she will go for a long walk and choose which of the Smurfs to pick in order to settle down with. But when Gargamel puts a spell on her to lure the love struck Smurfs, Papa Smurf must try to foil Gargamel's evil plan. Smurfette's Dancing Shoes (from the show's first season): An evil imp gives Smurfette magical dancing shoes, but it's a trick to force her to marry him. In order to free her, Papa Smurf and the Smurfs agree to the imp's demands, only to be double crossed. Papa's Wedding Day (from the show's second season): To win her freedom from Lord Balthazar, Flowerbell the nymph fairy is sent to the Smurf village to trick Papa Smurf into marrying her. The other Smurfs suspect that something is not right and try to make Papa Smurf see sense before the wedding. This is another fine collection of Smurf episodes, which will keep little ones entertained. For Smurf fans who have already purchased the season one and two box sets there is no point in picking up this collection, as you'll already own three of the four episodes included here. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
