Evoking a 1980s horror movie vibe, Neil Chaney's score for the UK movie Strippers vs. Werewolves is combined with a selection of songs by Sodajerker, a Liverpool-based songwriting team whose songs for Strippers vs. Werewolves showcases bright ideas and influences by such classy acts as Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran and Erasure...

Neil Chaney score for Strippers vs. Werewolves makes for is an interesting take on the genre. Mainly atmospheric tracks, there are a few segments of note (most notably the haunting 'Lucy's Dream', 'Carnage at the Club' and 'Lucy Confesses to Scott' and the heart pumping 'Let the Hunt Begin'.

Sodajerker's songs were the highlight for me. All of which are tongue in cheek, cheesy takes on the '80s music scene. In fact I bet, on at least a couple of the tracks, you'll be half convinced they are tracks you partly remember from the '80s. The very obvious Pet Shop Boys spoof 'Movie Star' is probably the most in your face mickey take.

The album contains 20 tracks and lasts for 1hr, 09 min, 06 sec. Of these, 12 tracks (35 min, 44 sec) are by Chaney and 8 songs (33 min, 22 sec) are by Sodajerker.
