Ten years after a devastating mass event, the nation's borders and the balance of global power have been redrawn forever. Earn your mask in SIngle-Player and Multiplayer with the unmatched tactics and analysis available only in this guide...

BradyGame's latest official guide book for Call of Duty: Ghosts is one of the few guide book I've ever seriously thought that everyone (who owns the game, obviously) should buy.

You can probably skip over the Campaign walk through, as it's only worth reading if you want to complete all of the achievements and find all the hidden Rorke files. No, the main meat of this book is reserved for the multiplayer online modes. A quick run through of all the modes is essential, but more importantly - because this game allows you to unlock weapons, perks and just about every aspect of your load out - an in depth look at these helps you set up a couple of essential classes for your soldier without you having to buy things and then realise you've wasted your credits because you can't get on with them.

Yes, you could mess about with your classes on a local game mode where you can unlock everything for free and make up classes that you can then replicate on the online modes... but that's a lot of faffing about. I did this for the my sniper rifle class. I checked with the book and found the set up that was right for me and then, as an experiment went into a local game and tried all of the sniper rifles and a variety of perks and attachments. The original set up I'd worked out by reading the guide ended up being the best for me.

With Call of Duty: Ghosts there's an incredibly steep learning curve and this guide not only holds your hands through the basics, but the layout is fresh and well thought out. It's the perk section which will probably come in most useful though as it simply walks you through what each perk does and what weapons they are best used with. So if you fancy setting up a stealth class so that you can sneak around behind enemy lines and take them out without being spotted easily this will tell you which of the perks are essential and which are useful, but not overly important.

There's no doubt about it, this guide will definitely improve your online multiplaying.
