Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (Original Game Score)

Composer: Jamie Christopherson
Sumthing Else
RRP: Comes with the Collector's Edition of the game
Available 19 February 2013

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance takes the renowned Metal Gear franchise into exciting new territory by focusing on delivering an all-new action experience unlike anything that has come before. The game introduces Raiden as the central character; a child soldier transformed into a half-man, half-machine cyborg ninja, equipped with a high-frequency katana blade and a soul fuelled by revenge...

Jamie Christopherson's score for Metal Gear Rising: Revenge is released by Sumthing Else, but it's not a score you can order on its own. This is only available to those that purchase the Collector's Edition of the game.

Normally, I'm not a huge advocator of spending additional money on games when all you get is a figure, a glossy guide or a metal collector's case, but the chance to own this score is all the incentive I'd need to part with the extra money.

In total the score includes 32 tracks and lasts for 1 hr, 08 min, 04 sec. There's a lot of variety here that is certain to appeal to game soundtrack fans.
