Varèse Sarabande Records Jay Vincent and Michael Kramer's score for the TV series LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. Life is never easy for a ninja hero. LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu finds Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole in a heated battle against Lloyd Garmadon, son of their archenemy Lord Garmadon. Garmadon launches an attack on Ninjago with an army of sinister snake tribes in an attempt to conquer the land. However, his plan backfires when the snakes organize a mutiny and take him as prisoner. Now forced to surrender to his former rivals, Garmadon joins the ninjas to thwart the rise of an enemy prophesied to shroud the land in eternal darkness. Ancient legend states that only one ninja will ultimately rise above the rest to become the Green Ninja those answers and more lie ahead...

Jay Vincent and Michael Kramer's score for LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu contains 19 tracks (55 min, 13 sec) of interesting themes. There's a good mix of oriental themed tracks like 'Ninjago Overture'; modern rock anthems like 'Roomies with Garmadon' which reminded me of Morning Runner's 'Gone Up in Flames' - which is used as The Inbetweeners main theme; but the majority of tracks are conventional movie score fair.

Personal favourite tracks include 'Sensei Lives On / Battling the Guardian'; 'Discovering Spinjitzu / Dragon Ride'; 'A Family Divided'; and 'Race to Ouroboros'.

There are some impressive themes here and it's certainly worth picking up if your a fan of the show. It's also worth checking out even if you haven't seen the series.
