John R. Graham has written the original music to the upcoming film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. Although the story of the action-packed full-length CG motion picture is effectively self-contained, it is also part of a complex and dynamic fictional universe shared with two other properties, Brotherhood series and upcoming video game Final Fantasy XV. The soundtrack also features the main theme, written by Yoko Shimomura, who composed the music for the upcoming game...

John R. Graham turns in some impressive themes and set pieces here. The score contains 25 tracks (1 hr, 11 min, 51 sec) with a nice mix of battle/confrontation themes and quieter, more reflective pieces.

The album contains 6 tracks (12 min, 41 sec) of music composed by Yoko Shimomura. It's not clear whether they just incorporate his main theme, or were totally composed by him by the game.

Personal highlights include 'Diamond Weapon'; 'Treachery'; and 'The General and the King.'

All in all an impressive, epic sounding score that will find a welcome home in all Final Fantasy fan's music library.
