After falling endlessly through powerful magnetic storms you wake up in a desolate world. Your memory erased, you start exploring this place surrounded by void as cryptic messages appear around you. Suddenly, you spot a gigantic Tower emerging from the mists. You soon understand that in order to find the answers you need, you must climb all the way to the top. Equipped with a 'SwitchGun', a special weapon allowing you to activate or deactivate the Tower elements, you set off on a perilous journey full of traps, complex mechanisms, gaps to cross and lethal foes, a journey that will eventually allow you to solve the mystery surrounding this strange and abstract world...

Review imageDeadCore is a First-person Platformer blending exploration, speedrunning and puzzles. It was originally released on the PC back in 2014. The developers state that every level has at least two main paths and several secret passages you have to find to optimise your time.

For the price, this will act as an interesting distraction for a while. Personally I find this style of game annoyingly fiddly and to be honest I did bore of it incredibly quickly. For those who enjoy First-person Platformers there's just enough here to keep your interest.
