MovieScore Media release composer George Kallis's music for Albion: The Enchanted Stallion, a magical fantasy. The film follows the adventures of a twelve-year-old girl who gets transported to the mystical world of Albion with the help of a magical black stallion. Upon arrival, she discovers that she alone is the key to saving an entire race of people. The epic fantasy score features a traditional symphonic orchestra, choir and an assortment of exotic instruments which transports its listeners to the magical kingdom of Albion - and like all great film scores of the Golden Age, it has the power to do so without the visuals...

George Kallis (Gagarin: First in Space, 93 Days) releases quite an impressive score for Albion: The Enchanted Stallion. There are numerous themes to fall in love with over the album's 20 tracks (51 min, 28 sec) and this is one album that's a slow burner. You'll love it the first time you listen to it, but no matter how many times you play it you'll find another new theme that you missed on the first play through.

The only comparison I can think of is James Horner. While the music isn't overly Horner-esque in delivery, it's got that melancholic, hero theme vibe that keeps you glued to the themes.

This works well best when played from start to finish, as some of the themes build as the album progresses.

This is a score that not only can you enjoy now, but even if you play it to death, you'll still be digging it out for years to come.
