Lakeshore Records release the Dead Shack Original Motion Picture Soundtrack which features original music composed by Humans. On a weekend getaway at a rundown cottage in the woods, a precocious 14 year-old teen, his crude best friend, and his best friend’s fearless older sister will have to grow up, work together, and save their hard partying parents from their predatory cabin neighbour intent on feeding them all to her “undead family...”

Humans's score for Dead Shack is something of an acquired taste. It's interesting, but not really the sort of music that works outside of the movie (which to be fair it was never intended for).

It's an electronic album of rich themes, which range from quirky to eerie, but as a standalone album will only really appeal to those that enjoy electronic horror scores from the '80s. While it's a huge leap forward from this genre, it has a similar vibe.

There are plenty of themes to sink your teeth into, but if you're not a fan of electronic scores then you won't find anything here to change your point of view.

The score contains 16 tracks (38 min, 15 sec).
