Nemi Montoya, the cool, romantic, strong-willed, cynical, sexy and all-too-honest twenty-something goth, returns to share more frank and hilarious moments in this brand new collection from artist Lise Myhre. Hang out with Nemi and her mates, including her best friend, the blue-haired Cyan, as they deal with love, friendship, inebriation, sex, and the other really important things of life...

The second volume of Nemi gives fans of the first volume another dose of gothic fun as we view the world through Nemi's eyes. Hear her views on men, music, The Lord of the Rings, early mornings, drinking and then take a trip with her to a graveyard early in the morning for a sight that will live with you forever.

Nemi is the creation of Lise Myhre and first appeared in London's Metro newspaper in 2003. This hardback graphic novel collects together another batch of Nemi's best strips. This is basically a sideways look at life through the eyes of a young goth girl who works in a music shop, and socialises in the evenings in some of London's trendy clubs and pubs. Obviously part autobiographical, Nemi is easy to relate to even if you are not a goth yourself.

The only real problem I had with this collection is that no one seems to have bothered to proof read it. There are at least six strips that are repeated in this collection - which is a little annoying.

Certainly a worthwhile addition to your bookshelf.
