Doctor Glendon travels to Tibet to find a rare plant known as the Lupus. Whilst securing it, he is attacked and bitten by a man-beast. Back in London, Glendon begins to change during the full moon, and learns from a mysterious learned man that the plant is the only known antidote for lycanthropy. However, it only blooms in the full moon, and somebody else is also desperate for the cure...

Like She-Wolf of London, Werewolf of London is an example of more honest and genuine times. For instance, the Scotland Yard Inspector says his report will say he killed Doctor Glendon by accident while the man was protecting his wife! Imagine that scenario today; the legal inquiries would be going on for years to come.

This is a mildly enjoyable yarn with the unintentional humour level of the later Fu Manchu films. The facial make-up is thankfully low-key, but I almost spat out my cup of tea laughing as I watched the Glendon character undergo his transformation, only to calmly put on his hat and coat before going out on the prowl.
