It
will come as no surprise to anyone who bought Smallville:
The Official Companion - Season One and Season
Two to learn that the Season Three Companion
is just as well researched and compiled.
As
with the previous volumes, this comes packed to bursting with
loads of images from Smallville, as well as heaps of
interesting information on each episode (including music tracks,
a list of guest stars and some great "Did You Know?"
titbits).
Sadly
though, the choice of images for the 16 colour pages in the
centre of this collection leaves a lot to be desired. When
you've only got a limited amount of pages you really should
take a lot of care choosing the right pictures. One page is
totally wasted with production designs of low res scans of
logos (they could easily have been reprinted in black and
white) and there are several rather poor screen grabs which
really shouldn't have been included in colour.
But,
despite this slight complaint, this is yet another Smallville
companion book that all fans will be proud to own.
