Since he adopted the mantle of Starman, Jack Knight's whole life has been turned upside down, as he made new friends - as well as new enemies. While Jack's in space searching for Will Payton, the previous incarnation of Starman and brother of Jack's current girlfriend, his ship is destroyed and he's forced into a desperate battle for survival on a grim prison world. With help from an unexpected quarter, Jack now finds himself embroiled in the fight to free the planet's people from the yoke of their despotic leader...

Stars My Destination is an enjoyable romp through Starman's universe. While the art, for the most part is uncomplicated and uncluttered, it does the trick. In fact, in a lot of places, the art has an almost childlike quality.

But it is the calibre of the writing that is the most impressive element of this collection. There's a look of Dan Dare about this collection - a retro feel that you can't quite put your finger on. And it was this that makes it difficult not to enjoy Stars My Destination.

The main concern I had though, was that it seemed a little over priced when you compare it to similar Titan releases.

A great read, and one that Starman fans will appreciate
