Jedi Master Quinlan Vos has had more than his share of brushes with the dark side of the Force, and it is precisely for that reason that he is chosen to pierce Dooku's inner circle. But to complete his mission, Vos must plunge headlong into the shadow of the dark side - a path from which there may be no return...

Light and Dark is the forth volume in the Clone Wars series of graphic novels. Once the peacekeepers of the Republic, the Jedi have now been forced into new roles. Most have become commanders and warriors, leading the Republic's clone army against the forces that would splinter galactic rule of law. Others have had to go undercover as spies - working their way into the ranks of the Separitists.

The first, and most impressive thing to strike me about Light and Dark was the fantastically detailed art work. It's not often that I read a graphic novel where the art inside is more impressive than the painting on the cover, but it is here.

Titan has also done a fantastic on the repro too, as well as using excellent quality paper stock.

The action leaps off the page and, for a brief moment, I was a seven year old kid again. This collection made me forget Lucas's two naff prequels, and remember why I fell in love with the Star Wars universe when I was younger.

Certainly one of the best Star Wars graphic novel's I've read.
