When a spoiled party girl is kidnapped by dangerous "freedom fighters", Modesty and Willie must use all their skills to retrieve her - not that they want to. The dark underworld of espionage and crime is about to be lit up by the fatal charms of the gorgeous Modesty Blaise - high priestess of pulp crime and goddess of cult thrillers...

The Green-Eyed Monster sees another collection of classic Modesty Blaise newspaper strips. As well as The Green-Eyed Monster, this release also includes the stories Willie the Djinn and Death of a Jester.

This collection opens with a profile of artist Enric Badia Romero, to mark the first full volume of his artwork.

As we've come to expect, Peter O'Donnell delves into his archives to ensure that before each story we are treated to a little background to how each tale came about. The introduction to Willie the Djinn is particularly interesting as this was a replacement story that was made simple so that the non-English speaking Romero wouldn't have any problems understanding what was expected of his artwork.

This release is another impressive collection of stories about the woman who makes James Bond seem like a bit of a girl. Classic stuff.
